Blended Intensive Programme “SPEEDY – faSt Photogrammetry and lasEr tEchniques for Digital urban surveYing” – Pavia, 16-20.06.2025

The Blended Intensive Programme ‘SPEEDY – faSt Photogrammetry and lasEr tEchniques for Digital urban surveYing’, organised by the DAda LAB research and teaching laboratory, will be held from 16 to 20 June 2025.

SPEEDY is a training course designed to introduce students and young researchers to the topics of digital documentation of architectural and urban heritage. The aim is to combine theoretical and practical activities, offering tools to understand, interpret and enhance built heritage through the conscious use of digital technologies: from field surveying to data management and online sharing of 3D models.

The project, developed in synergy with the activities of the DORIAN project (Line 1), integrates multidisciplinary skills: rapid acquisition techniques using photogrammetry and laser scanners, the use of software dedicated to the “scan to model” process and experimentation with web platforms for the open use of “digital twins” of cultural heritage. In this way, students can follow the entire life cycle of the data, from acquisition in situ to restitution and publication on shared digital environments.
