On 4 and 5 April 2023, there will be an international workshop in the city of Verona entitled “La cinta magistrale di Verona. Digital documentation for the study of the fortified system“, as part of the Verona Città Murata project, in collaboration with the Municipality of Verona, the UNESCO Office “City of Verona – UNESCO World Heritage Site” and the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the University of Pavia.
During the workshop, the students of the Course in Architectural Survey and Representation of the same University will carry out field documentation activities, through direct survey actions and with the aid of digital instruments, in order to verify the state of conservation of some of the city’s numerous fortifications: Forte San Giorgio and Rondella delle Boccare.
