Alessandro Martinelli
Research fellow at the University of Pavia. Received his Ph.D. in Architectural Design from Sapienza University of Rome (Speakers: Graziano Mario Valenti, Marta Salvatore), where he previously graduated in Architecture (Speakers: Laura De Carlo, Piero Albisinni). Subject matter expert in Design and Science of Representation. He has taught at La Sapienza and at the Politecnico di Milano. His research crosses the topics of 3D modeling, parametric modeling, BIM, AI, virtualization, surveying, prototyping, animation, gamification, descriptive geometry. His doctoral thesis (winner of the Targa De Fiore 2023 at UID) proposes a virtual system for teaching geometry. He works with national and international research groups, participating in several European Fundings projects.
