Vincenzo Moschetti
PhD and researcher in Architectural and Urban Composition at the Department of Architecture and Design – Sapienza University of Rome. Graduated from the School of Architecture of the University of Florence with a thesis entitled Amnesia. The Mediterranean of Taranto recognised with publication honours, since 2019 he has been a PhD in Architectural and Urban Composition with the research entitled Camere azzurre. The house as the construction of a Mediterranean anthology, winner of the 2019 FUP Doctoral Thesis Award. The scientific and teaching activities are dedicated to the theoretical aspects of the architectural project, in particular the relationships between project and authorship, and between architecture, geography and “nature”. This includes the scientific research conducted as a research fellow (2020-21, 2021-22, 2022- 23) within the Iuav research unit in Venice (scientific head Prof. Sara Marini) for the Prin (call 2017) Sylva. Rethinking the “forest”. Towards a new alliance between biological and artefact, nature and society, wildness and humanity, and the previous research fellowships conducted, the first (2019), at the Department of Architecture of the University of Florence entitled L’invenzione dell’abitare and, the second (2019-2020), at the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the University of Pavia on the theme of safeguarding and heritage entitled Paesaggio monumentale. Rereading the Walls of Verona UNESCO Heritage: composition, layout and museography. As part of the activities of the Drawing Architecture DocumentAction (DADA) research laboratory of the University of Pavia, she took part in the research and care of the composition of layout systems for museum complexes (Bastione delle Maddalene, Porta Palio), studying the processes of development and transformation of architectural compartments of a historical nature.
