Anna Orchowska
Assistent Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Gdańsk University of Technology (FA Gdańsk Tech). She is an architect and academic based in Tri-City (Poland), on the shore of the Baltic Sea. Her research begun in 2003, has focused on the Modern architecture of the port in Gdynia (PhD, 2013), about which she published a book in 2023. She combines theoretical knowledge and research in the Department of History,Theory of Architecture and Conservation of Monuments at FA Gdańsk Tech with design practice, concentrating on architectural survey, inventory and conservation issues of Modern architecture. Her current research conducted in various centres deals with the problem of authenticity in the field of Modernist interior revaluing.
