Dariusz R. Cyparski
With over 14 years of experience working abroad as an Architect at award winning offices he has been involved in development of parametric modelling and implementation of BIM processes in architectural projects from the early stage of concept design through to completion on site. Spectrum of projects ranging from adaptation of historical buildings to large scale mixed-use developments, art and cultural designs. His work has been awarded (individually or collectively) and distinguished in international and national competitions. He has also been a committee member of both Architectural Association of Ireland (AAI) and DoCoMoMo – the Irish committee for documentation and conservation of buildings and sites of the modern movement, where he was involved in organisation of international seminars, workshops and site visits. He has attended many Continuing Professional Development courses and RIAI Professional Practice Lecture Series in UCD Research, Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Training, Belfield, Ireland. Additionally he has received the following international certificates: Revit Architecture Professional and Autodesk Certified Professional. Currently conducting BIM and Integration of Design Process laboratories at the Faculty of Architecture, Gdansk University of Technology where he continues his research on issues of development of parametric modelling systems with use of 3D scanning technology and other digital data acquisition tools such as photogrammetry, LiDAR, Point Cloud for H-BIM documentation and representation of built heritage.
