“Cultural Heritage for Cultural Exchange” webinar at Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture – 15.04.2022
On Friday 15th April at 10:30 a.m. the telematic meeting “Cultural Heritage for Cultural Exchange” will be held, promoted by the Research and Experimental Didactics Laboratories DAda-LAB and PLAY of the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
The meeting is addressed to Ukrainian students of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
In this complicated moment for Ukrainian schools, the Laboratories will offer a webinar with short lectures on the analysis and management of historical architectural heritage.
The Vice-Chancellor for International Relations Prof. Antonella Forlino will open the meeting, which will be hosted by the Rector of the University of Odessa, Prof. Anatoly Kovrov, together with the Vice-Chancellor for Research, Prof. Sergii Kroviakov, and Prof. Nadia Yeksareva, visiting professor at the University of Pavia from March to June 2016.
It will be followed by three lectures on digital documentation by Prof. Sandro Parrinello, Honorary Professor at the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Prof. Marco Morandotti and Prof. Olimpia Niglio.
The goal of Culture and Research is to strengthen the overcoming of conflicts towards peace while respecting values, identities, places and peoples. Attention to heritage, to strategies of digital documentation, management and intervention on historical architecture, is a need for those who administer and live in places where cultural tensions are experienced.
This webinar is designed to bring a message of solidarity to colleagues and students of Architecture.
