“Documenting and Visualising Architectural Heritage: The Experience of the DAda-LAB” – Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) – 12.05.2022
On Thursday 12th May at 11:30 a.m. (Singapore time), at the Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Bookish and Experiential Research (LIBER @ ADM Library) of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, the presence lecture “Documenting and Visualising Architectural Heritage: The Experience of the DAda-LAB” will be held. The meeting, patronised by the Italian Embassy in Singapore, is promoted by the Laboratory of Research and Experimental Didactics DAda-LAB of the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the University of Pavia and is part of the actions of the Erasmus Mundus Design Measures project, co-funded by the European Union, “VREA Virtual Reality Engineering and Game Design for Architecture and Cultural Heritage“.
The meeting is addressed to the students of ADM School of Art Design and Media in Singapore. The lecture, held by Prof. Sandro Parrinello and Ph.D. Candidate Silvia La Placa from the University of Pavia, will be presented by Prof. Wong Chen-Hsi (NTU ADM Chair), Prof. Andrea Nanetti (Director LIBER @ NTU ADM) and Dr. Nicola Bianchi (Scientific Attaché, Italian Embassy in Singapore). The lecture will be followed by a participatory discussion, in which Mr Kelvin Ang Director, Conservation Management, Urban Redevelopment Authority and Asst/Prof. Davide Benvenuti (ADM, NTU) will take part. The meeting will be an opportunity to share strategies for documentation, enhancement and communication of Cultural Heritage and to strengthen international relations between the Universities, both in terms of teaching and research.
