“H2020 PROMETHEUS project – first kick-off meeting”. Perm, Russia – 27.02.2019

2019 marks the beginning of the project activities of PROMETHEUS – PROtocols for information Models librariEs Tested on HEritage of Upper Kama Sites.
The research project, funded by the European Union program Horizon 2020 Research & Innovation programme, Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 821870, provides for the participation of European universities and professional societies involved in the architectural documentation of the Russian monumental cathedrals of Upper Kama, aimed at elaborating territorial information models and systems for the conservation and enhancement of Cultural Heritage Routes (Unesco, ICOMOS).

The project is coordinated by University of Pavia (Italy), through the laboratory DAda Lab., that will collaborate with Perm National Research Polytechnic University (Russia), Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain), and professional societies SISMA – Sistemi Integrati di Monitoraggio Architettonico S.r.l. (Italy) and EBIME – BIM Consultancy for Architecture and Engineering (Spain).

From 26.02 to 3.03, researchers and professionals from the various partners will be in Perm for the first kick-off meeting of the project, dedicated to defining the objectives and targets of research and planning the activities of the first year, including the international summer school for students and researchers scheduled for summer 2019.
