Silvia La Placa
PhD student in Design, Modelling and Simulation in Engineering, cycle XXXV, at the High Doctoral School of University of Pavia. Graduated in Architecture, in July 2018, with a degree thesis entitled “The Coverciano Federal Technical Center: an architecture for sports education”, her research is developed in the field of documentation of sports complexes and military architecture, with particular attention to the census and processing of digital databases. Since 2017 she has collaborated as tutor in the research and teaching activities of Architectural Survey Laboratory of University of Florence and, since March 2019, she actively collaborates in the experimental scientific research activities of DAdA Lab. in the development of documentation initiatives within research projects, both national and international. Among the main interests, the production of documentary corps and digital archives for the development of heritage management systems on an architectural and territorial scale, as well as participation in the writing of European and international research projects.
